Environment

  • Product: ART
  • Version: 5.20 and higher

Procedure

  1. Log into the ART website as a System Administrator via a web browser.
  2. Click Projects in the upper left corner. 
  3. Select the project to which the user will be added.
  4. Click Edit Properties on the left menu.
  5. Click Edit below the role to which the user will be assigned.
  6. Perform one of the following options:
    1. Assign project roles manually.
      • Click ART Users. 
      • Click All Users. 
      • Perform a search or click on the first letter of the last name of the desired user, select the user name, and click Add Selected.
    2. Assign a group of users to the end user role
      • Click ART Groups. 
      • Click the checkbox next to the group(s) you want to assign to the project role. 
  7. Click OK.
  8. Click Save.

Additional Information

The minimal ART role you should assign to a user interacting with the server from the client is Author. This ensures the user will have access to server functionality associated with creating content. 
 
It is currently not possible to add groups to an Author or Administrator role.
