Certificate Not Valid till error when add TH to ArcMC

Summary

When try to add TH to ArcMC management , Certificate Not Valid till YYYYMMDD error popup and failed to add TH host.

Cause

Rarely the ArcMC server and the TH server maynot have the same system time.

When the ArcMC's time is fall behind to TH server , which means that ,the cert of TH may not be valid when try to use it at ArcMC server.

eg.

ArcMC:
# date
Tue Jun 23 11:56:42 PDT 2020

TH:
# date
Tue Jun 23 18:58:38 PDT 2020

ArcMC's time is 7hours behind TH, when TH generated cert newly , it won't be valid to use at ArcMC untill 7hours later.

 

 

Fix

sync the system time between ArcMC and TH .
