SecureData Sentry 4.0 introduced the new Secure Search Index to enable the use of prefixes and wildcards for searching protected data in Salesforce.
On July 18, Salesforce introduced their Summer release which included a beta “Top Result filter” feature for the Salesforce mobile app. This included an unannounced change to the general Salesforce application programming interface (API) that Sentry uses for the Secure Search Index feature.  This change rendered the Secure Search Index feature inoperational in version 4.0.  This version 4.0.1 Service Pack release restores the Secure Search Index functionality.

Key Features:

• Sentry 4.0.1 includes an update to the Salesforce Search Plugin to align with changes to the Salesforce Search API. This restores Secure Search Index functionality that enables the use of prefixes and wildcards for searching protected data in Salesforce.
• In addition, a correction is made to the release notification for version 4.0. The eFPE search functionality communicated as available in that release was incorrect. This feature, that permits matching of all eFPE ciphertexts of a search term across key rollover histories, will be available in version 4.1.
