Error

A popup box occurs when opening Outlook.  The popup says A website wants to open web content using this program on your computer.  This program will open outside of Protected mode.  Name: Windows host process (Rundll32) 

Fix

Suppress the popup by following these steps:

  1. Open regedit
  2. Go to HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Low Rights\ElevationPolicy
  3. Create a Key
  4. Created a unique GUID (Using GUID generator) and rename the Key with this GUID along width {} for e.g. - {F5559121-8433-45c2-8936-B73C2C8B97B0}
  5. Now create a string value under this newly created Key and rename it as AppName, string value is rundll32.exe
  6. Now create other string value under this newly created Key and rename it as AppPath, string value is C:\Windows\System32
  7. Now create a DWORD (32-Bit) under this newly created Key and rename it as Policy, decimal value is 3
