Product & Pricing Change
 

As of November 1, 2012, HP Fortify Real Time Analyzer (RTA) product has been renamed to HP Fortify Runtime ("Runtime") and the product structure has been modified in order to consolidate product offerings in the HP portfolio. The new release will offer a Fortify Runtime platform product with two licensed options: Fortify Runtime Application Protection for protecting applications from malicious attacks and Fortify Runtime Application Logging for monitoring and logging application security activity. This restructuring allows for a modular installation to support both of these features in a single installation package. The changes are:

  • Existing RTA Server customers ("HP RTA Server Licenses") will migrate to the new equivalent Runtime component parts Runtime Platform + Runtime Application Protection + Runtime Application Logging, with identical price and entitlement. ("HP Runtime Server Licenses")
  • Existing RTA User licenses will migrate to the new Fortify Runtime User licenses, with identical price and entitlement.
Effective November 1, 2012, at the time of next support contract renewal, existing customer support contracts will be migrated to the new product structure. Customer entitlement will remain the same after the migration to the new product structure. Support pricing will be based on the new configuration.

License Migration Terms
  The HP Runtime Server Licenses ("Migrated Software") are licensed in accordance with the agreement under which Customer previously purchased the respective HP RTA Server Licenses and the new additional license terms for the applicable Migrated Software as set forth at this location. ("Additional License Terms") Customer's acceptance of the Support Renewal Quotation for the respective Migrated Software is Customer's acceptance of the Terms herein, including the Additional License Terms.
