Pass class type of Change Request data from RC to UCMDB by Federation Adapter (RC - UCMDB) - Catalog Id: 193

Description

Every request to HPE Release Control (RC) to calculate a federated query is made by one of the two types of HPE Release Control Federation adapters:
  • Change Federation adapter
  • KPI Federation adapter

This integration is part of Change Configuration and Release Management (CCRM) v3 solution.

Change Federation Adapter (CcmChangeAdapter)

Retrieves all changes for a given CI existing in HPE Universal CMDB. The adapter supports the Planned Change CI type. You use service desk relationships to create a query in HPE Universal CMDB to view all the planned changes for a system or business CIs.

The KPI Federation Adapter

The KPI Federation adapter supports the Real Time KPI CI type. You use KPI of relationships to create a query in HPE Universal CMDB to view all the KPIs for number of planned/actual changes.

  • The  RCKpiPlannedChangeAdapter retrieves the number of planned changes for a given CI in the last 24 hours
  • The  RCKpiActualChangeAdapter retrieves the number of actual changes for a given CI in the last 24 hours
