Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) is announcing the product obsolescence of HP Operations Smart Plug-In for Storage Essentials (Operations SPi for SE). The End of Committed Support, End of Extended Support and End of Self-Help Support with Rights to New Versions dates were announced previously on Software Support Online on August 1, 2012.

HPE is committed to providing the highest level of customer care to you while you determine your future strategy for Operations SPi for SE, and will provide support as indicated by the Key program dates listed below.

Current Storage Essentials (SE) customers are encouraged to migrate from SE to Storage Operations Manager (SOM) via the SE to SOM Migration Program . Once migrated to SOM, customers may take advantage of the SOM integration with Operations Bridge (OMi). Please contact your local HPE sales representative or your local HPE business partner for more information related to the SE to SOM migration program.

Key program dates listed below for Operations SPi for SE are based on HPE’s time-based support policy under which end-of-support dates are announced as new product versions are released. Our goal is to provide you with a clear visibility into the support time-line of software products, enabling you to use this information to plan, test, and deploy new product versions.
