Summary

Micro Focus is currently offering Codar Class 3 SKU customers a free migration to the new Codar Class 1 SKU. By migrating to the new Codar SKU, customers will have access to non-production licenses at no additional cost and be eligible for a paid upgrade to Hybrid Cloud Management suite.

Free Non-Production Licences for Codar customers!

Micro Focus is currently offering Codar (SKU: H7U67AAE) customers a free migration to the new Codar SKU (SKU: P8E75AAE). By migrating to the new Codar SKU, customers will have 1) access to non-production licenses at no additional cost and 2) be eligible for a paid upgrade to Hybrid Cloud Management suite at a nominal cost under the Micro Focus Customer Appreciation Program.  This migration will cause no other changes to their existing entitlements.


As part of this program, effective July 15, 2018, Micro Focus will be obsoleting the Codar Class 3 license SKU H7U67AAE. Accordingly, at the time of next support contract renewal, Micro Focus will replace this license with the new Codar Class 1 license SKU P8E75AAE.


This does not involve any form of technical migration, changes to your environment or changes to your license capacity in production environment.

Software License Keys

 

The new entitlement order created as part of the migration process will automatically generate additional Class 1 non-production entitlements for the customer. Customers may use this new entitlement to generate a fresh set of license key(s). It is important that the customer deletes/destroys the old license keys and just use the new license keys only.  Using both license keys will lead to the overutilization of entitlement and may potentially lead to license non-compliance. Customer may visit Software Licenses and Downloads Portal to activate their new licenses.

License Migration Terms

 

The Migrated Software is licensed in accordance with the agreement under which customer previously purchased the Codar and the new additional license terms for the applicable Migrated Software as set forth at https://mysupport.microfocus.com/web/softwaresupport/document/-/facetsearch/document/KM720008 ("Additional License Authorizations"). Customer’s acceptance of the Support Renewal Quotation for the respective Migrated Software is Customer’s acceptance of the Terms herein, including the Additional License Terms.
