TITLE:
How does HP / SPI Dynamics keep up with new vulnerabilities?
DETAILS:
In addition to internal research, our SPI Labs group monitors multiple news sources for new vulnerabilities. As they are exposed, they are added to a queue. Depending upon severity or as customers request them, they may be moved up the queue to be completed more quickly. Once completed, they will appear in our products via the automatic Smart Update™ process.
Our checks may cover known vulnerabilities, but we do not correlate them to the published CVE number (such as CVE-2007-1560).
