ServiceCenter 6.2.4 km_file_handling.unl unload file is flawed and should not be loaded

Summary

ServiceCenter 6.2.4 Installation CD contains a flawed km_file_handling.unl unload file and should not be loaded into the newly upgraded ServiceCenter system.

Question

The ServiceCenter 6.2.4 maintenance release CD contains a flawed km_file_handling.unl unload file. It is important that this unload file not be applied to the current ServiceCenter 6.2.4 system. If the file has been loaded into the system it needs to be replaced as soon as possible.

Answer

Attached to this knowledge document is the updated, and correct, unload file to load into ServiceCenter:  km_file_handling_v2

NOTE: THIS FILE SHOULD ONLY BE LOADED INTO SERVICECENTER 6.2.4. IF LOADED INTO EARLIER VERSIONS ADDITIONAL PROBLEMS CAN BE EXPERIENCED!

Please follow the steps below:

1. Save the attached km_file_handling_v2.unl to a directory on the server or workstation
2. Login to ServiceCenter
3. Go to Database Manager
4. In the File field search for and access ScriptLibrary
5. Inside ScriptLibrary search for and access KMAdmin
6. Rename KMAdmin to KMAdminBad
7. Go back to Database Manager
8. Load in the recently saved km_file_handling_v2.unl
9. Logout out of ServiceCenter
10. Login to ServiceCenter
11. Click on Knowledge Management--->Manage Knowledgebases
12. Reindex the following libraries: Interaction_Library, Incident_Library and Knowledge_Library
