Effective July 1, 2012, HP had restructured the licensing model for new versions of HP Universal Discovery Inventory (UDI) in order to make licensing of updates and new purchases smoother and easier. In addition, HP Discovery Dependency Mapping Inventory (DDMI) is being obsoleted. The changes affect the HP Asset Tracking Suite (ATS). As of September 1, 2013, at the time of the next support contract renewal, existing support contracts for ATS will be migrated to the corresponding products. Details of this migration are as follows:

For each ATS (TA191AA), customer will be entitled to: a) 20 licenses of UDI (TF231AAE) which includes 100 Operating System Instances in each license; b) 1 license of HP Asset Manager Base Server (T9500AAE) licensed per Server and c) 10 licenses of HP Asset Manager Portfolio (T9502AAE) licensed by a single Named User.

License Migration Terms

  The UDI, HP Asset Manager Base Server and HP Asset Manager Portfolio ("Migrated Software") is licensed in accordance with the agreement under which customer previously purchased ATS and the new additional license terms for the applicable Migrated Software as set forth at this location. ("Additional License Terms"). Customer’s acceptance of the Support Renewal Quotation for the respective Migrated Software is Customer’s acceptance of the Terms herein, including the Additional License Terms.
