Product & Pricing Change

As of June 1, 2012 HP LoadRunner and HP Performance Center product structures have been changed in order to make licensing of updates provided under a support contract with HP smoother and easier. The changes are:

  • The Java RMI & CORBA protocols, previously included in HP LoadRunner and HP Performance Center Network Bundle ("Network Bundle") are now licensed separately in the HP Java RMI and Corba Bundle. Those Customers that have previously licensed the Network Bundle prior to the 9.0 version ("Network Bundle Customers") are required to migrate to the HP JAVA RMI and Corba Bundle at the time of support renewal. Network Bundle Customers will receive at no charge license for the HP JAVA RMI and Corba Bundle.
  • The PeopleSoft & Siebel protocols, previously included in the HP LoadRunner and HP Performance Center Web/Multimedia Bundle ("Web Bundle") are now licensed separately in the HP PeopleSoft and Siebel Bundle. Those Customers that have previously licensed the Web Bundle prior to the 9.0 version ("Web Bundle Customers") are required to migrate to the HP PeopleSoft and Siebel Bundle at the time of support renewal. Web Bundle Customers will receive at no charge license for the HP PeopleSoft and Siebel Bundle.
  • Customers of Mercury branded LoadRunner or Performance Center protocols that purchased protocols that were not protocol specific ("Mercury Branded Non-Specific Protocols") are required to migrate to the HP protocol specific bundles("HP Branded Specific Protocols") since license keys and support updates are protocol specific. At the time of support renewal Customers of the Mercury Branded Non-Specific Protocols will be required to choose the appropriate HP Branded Specific Protocol.
Effective July 1, 2012 at the time of next support contract renewal, existing customer support contracts will be migrated to the new product structure. Customer entitlement will remain the same after the migration to the new product structure. Support pricing will be based on the new configuration.
