Product & Pricing Change
  As of November 1, 2010, HP Performance Center product structure and pricing has been simplified significantly in order to make transactions smoother and easier. The changes in the Performance Center pricing structure are:
  1. Geographic restrictions:
    1. Geographic restrictions have been removed. We will no longer sell Area/Global licenses.
    2. All customers will be migrated over to the new global licensing structure at no cost at the time of their next contract renewal.
  2. Controller pricing
    1. Unit pricing for Controllers - single SKU for controllers.
    2. Simplifies controller pricing, and makes it much easier to add further controllers.
    3. All quantity based SKUs will be migrated to equivalent quantity of a single controller SKU (E.g. 4-controller SKU will be migrated over to 4 quantity of the new 1-controller SKU).
  3. Virtual user pricing
    1. Unit pricing for Virtual users - ability to buy as many Vusers as needed, and not be restricted to certain bands (E.g. ability to buy 700 virtual users if needed).
    2. Removal of controller-dependency on virtual user pricing (i.e. removal of 1-4, 5-12 controller based pricing for virtual users).
    3. Introduction of volume discount (pay less per unit as you buy more).
    4. Makes adding VUsers much easier and cost-effective.
    5. All virtual user SKUs will be migrated over to the new, simplified structure upon contract renewal.
  4. Protocols - no changes to the protocol bundles

License Migration Terms
  Effective November 1st, 2010, HP moved to a new licensing model with no geographic restrictions for HP Performance Center Software. If Customer previously purchased the HP Performance Center Software licenses with geographic restrictions as referenced in Customer’s Support Renewal Quotation then upon Customer’s acceptance of the Quotation (1) HP hereby grants to Customer the right to Use the HP Performance Center Software without geographic restriction (the "Migrated Software") in accordance with the agreement under which Customer previously purchased said Products and the new additional license terms for the HP Performance Center Software set forth at Software Licensing Documents ("Additional License Terms") and (2) Customer’s geographically restricted licenses for the HP Performance Center Products are hereby terminated and replaced with the Migrated Software licenses. Customer’s acceptance of the Support Renewal Quotation for the Migrated Software is Customer’s acceptance of the Terms herein, including the Additional License Terms.
