Summary

As of February 15, 2018 with the release of version 11.0, Micro Focus is restructuring Universal CMDB licensing structure from OSI-Based licensing to Unit-Based licensing.

Product Structure Change

 

 

As of February 15, 2018, Micro Focus introduced a new product structure to change from OSI-Based licensing structure to Unit-Based licensing.
Accordingly, at the time of next support contract renewal, Micro Focus will replace the Universal Configuration Management Database (UCMDB) license SKUs on support contracts with new license SKUs.


This does not involve any form of technical migration or changes to your environment.

License Migration Terms

 

The Migrated Software is licensed in accordance with the agreement under which customer previously purchased the Universal Configuration Management Database (UCMDB) and the new additional license terms for the applicable Migrated Software as set forth at https://mysupport.microfocus.com/web/softwaresupport/document/-/facetsearch/document/KM720008 ("Additional License Authorizations"). Customer’s acceptance of the Support Renewal Quotation for the respective Migrated Software is Customer’s acceptance of the Terms herein, including the Additional License Terms.
